Typical Holiday Weekend Weather!

Here in NZ we celebrate the Queen's birthday this weekend. This was taken in the middle of the afternoon. Torrential rain, causing havoc through the road works. Not an accident, but the road is washing away faster than they can finish it. They are widening the main highway, and it seems to be taking forever.

Got to love a contraflow in the rain! Somehow it makes any traffic delay seem worse, not sure why! Hope it's moved on now. Persistent rain is not so much fun.
