I intend to go to the annual steampunk festival in Thames in November. Started thinking about my outfit already, after seeing the wonderful outfits last year. Here's my hat I shall be wearing. Given it a grungy steampunk texture for fun
@gardenfolk@ludwigsdiana still working on that. Got 2 skirts in a second hand shop. One's a bit tight, and the other too big, so see how much weight I lose or gain in Europe over the next 6 weeks. No doubt you will see a photo of the whole ensemble in November
@alinz a great little shop in Coromandel town. It's a second hand shop, but has a few steampunk stuff. I just happened to be in there when the lady who makes the hats came in with a box of them. Was too big for my small head, but she put all this tape inside to make it smaller
