Exciting day, we took delivery of our new motorhome. Never owned one before although we have hired in the past. We decided that overseas travel wouldn't be an option while our government was running a lottery with MIQ spots. Will probably end now that we've invested!
How lovely! You will enjoy it. Our only motor home holiday was in 1994 - and guess where we went? NZ of course! 3 wonderful weeks and possibly our best ever holiday.
@yorkshirekiwi We were living in Indonesia at the time, and so it was a relatively easy trip over. We hired a van in Auckland and drove all around North Island. We crossed over to South Island but we ran out of time and never made it right down to the far end of the island, unfortunately. We visited friends, fished, golfed, pony trekked, kayaked, bungied, white water rafted, jet boated ... you can imagine. And all BC. We flew out of Christchurch. Wonderful memories. :-)
Well the NZ roads will have far less motor homes on your roads than normal at the moment that’s for sure so you can have a pretty clear run. You look very excited & no wonder! I shall remember that number plate….quite memorable, would t it be amazing if I saw you one day when we are allowed back in! Have lots of fun & one thing we will hopefully see lots of NZ with you!
