It's rained all week. The river is the highest I've seen it in years. I went for a little drive to see. One part of the road was a river. I stopped and got out, the water went over the top of my gumboots! This isn't actually the river, just flooded fields. The waterbirds looked like they were enjoying the extra real estate
Such a beautiful scene, although I just hope the river behaves itself! We are getting very little rain in Scotland this summer, and contrary to the heat down south, we cannot complain about being roasted. It's quite cold so far this summer up north!
