Unfortunately there are no quick connections between flights, so I’ve had to spend 7 hours in the airport lounge. It was 1am when I landed, so not a lot going on. Haven’t slept yet, saving that for the 16 hour leg from Dubai to Auckland. Birds Eye view of the airport starting to wake up
Wonderful bird’s eye view! I hope the rest of your journey goes well. A few weeks from now I’ll be spending about 8 hours in the Newark NJ airport waiting for the final flight back to Kansas City from the UK.
I can sympathise wholeheartedly…..it’s a long wait for seven hours! Would help if the chair backs were higher in the airport! Harry & I went to the hotel once, it was good!
