Or commonly known as Red Robin. The hedges look great at the moment with the small white flowers and the red leaves, they make wonderful pink hedges. We planted one at our old house, but would be a waste of time doing it here. The alpaca's would just eat it!
Well I'm glad we don't have wandering alpacas munching their way down the street where we live! I've got several of these wonderfully flowering bushes and they are a riot of colour, just like this one!
It's a brilliant. colourful shrub and one of the few that grows as well here in the S of France as in our former home in NW England. We have a mixed hedge and we are gradually removing the other shrubs and letting the Red Robins fill the gaps. Nice that your photo includes no extraneous detail, just the shrub and its flowers.
