Went out for a bike ride this morning, parked up at Ngaruawahia at the Rotunda car park, as we arrived 30 minutes too early, and had to wait for the others. Testing out a new harness to see if I'll be able to carry my Nikon when we do a 3 day bike trail in just over a week
Nice in b&w. Cameras are a pain when riding a bike… and I don't like to put it in the pannier as I think it bounces around too much. Let me know if you find a successful harness…I usually end up with a small backpack.
@dide yes, I broke my P900 with it bouncing in a pannier. Have bought one of these Skout harnesses https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GcbC-KGmIjo
It's very good, comfortable. My problems is, I'm short and it's hard for me mounting and dismounting without banging the lens on the handle bars. Once I'm up and away it's great, and will be fab for tramping. I bought my husband a DJI Osmo pocket camera for Christmas, it shoots in raw, and is really quite good, so i'm going to carry that instead on the bike. Save the Nikon for the times we're not pedalling
