Need a little gas in your engine or spark on your fire? Nothing better than a one night stand! It's back! This is the fourth time around and it get more fun each time! If your not familiar with the One Night Stand Challenge...
This is how it works;
I have compiled a list of photography types and they have been selected randomly for this challenge! One type of photography, one night! You have one post for each category for each day of the week, just one! Post it and leave it! One post , one pic, one day. ...here's the list!
Mon. 18th ~ Fine-Art -
Fine art photography is difficult to define, primarily because artistic value is very much in the eye of the beholder. It can be best described as photography purely for the sake of expressing the photographer's own vision and feelings. It can also be defined by what it is not. It is not like commercial photography, in that it is not produced to sell a product or promote an image. It is not journalistic in nature where a photograph is taken to capture or tell a visual story that coincides with a written one. This should be an easy one! I see fine art photography here every day!
Tues. 19th ~ High-key
This one has appeared here before! High-key is scene with delicate tones or pastel colours. A photograph which contains large areas of light tones, with few middle tomes or shadows. High-key is achieved using lighting but here exposure is completely acceptable!
Wed. 20th ~ Wild Life
This one is wide open! It is simply the photography of all types of wildlife (fish, birds, mammals) whatever takes your fancy.
Thurs. 21 ~ Night
Night photography refers to photographs taken outdoors between dusk and dawn. Night photographers generally have a choice between using artificial light and using a long exposure, exposing the scene for seconds, minutes, and even hours in order to give the film or digital sensor enough time to capture a usable image
Fri. 22 ~ Culture and Cuisine
Its not just capturing the food but it's surroundings. Culture and cuisine could be just the culture too! Lots of options on this one!
Sat. 23 ~ UrbanEx
Urban exploration (often shortened as urbex or UE) is the examination of the normally unseen or off-limits parts of urban areas or industrial facilities. This can be barns, drain pipes, abandoned buildings, ect. Just be safe and don't break any laws! Unless you want to feel the rush! ;)
Sun. 24th ~ Motion blur
Motion blur is the apparent streaking of rapidly moving objects in a still image. It results when the image being recorded changes during the recording of a single frame, either due to rapid movement or long exposure.
There it is! Some are fun, some are a little challenging, some are down right horrifying! :o)
What makes this challenge fun is we all go through it together! One pic and leave it for the next! Tag your post ONS4 so we can all see each others works of art!
I hope you get lucky! ;o)
When i showed my daughter my todays photo, the first thing she said was "oh mum that looks like a drawing".. I wouldnt go quite that far but i think it might be fine art.. Is it??? Doesnt matter if you think it doesn't, my goal was practising my DOF and im happy with it...
I'm with @northy ...some warning!! :) Just saw this now...9pm on the 18th. Hhave already posted my shot for today, which was of a space that I liked. Pretty sure I can stretch this to be "fine art" . Anyway will join in tomorrow instead.
I am with @stuckinoz - I just saw this posted at 10.30pm on the night of 18th March. I think my second photo for today will just scrape through for the topic today. Hopefully I can complete the challenge.
I'm in! Traveling the latter part of the week but will try my best to do all. I love how these ONS challenges brings us together to be doing similar things around the world!
Here's my Fine art shot! For those of you on the other side of the world that are hours ahead of me and missed the small little heads up in my last "Poppy" shot, just tag your last post with ons4 and start up on Tuesdays topic. I'm sure what ever you posted yesterday was 100% Fine art! :)
But it's Tuesday here now, so I missed the fine art entry....can I wok backward on this, the rest will most certainly suck but I could try the fine art....
Just saw this! I've been MIA for a bit. I loved the last ONS. I just posted a million wildlife shots - may change one for tomorrow and take a high key tomorrow for today . . . follow me? ;)

So...I don't know what I was thinking. For some reason I thought it was all high key. (this is my first ons challenge) I have untagged all but the 19th and will do my best over the weekend.
Thanks for hosting, Jerry! If you're tagging people for ONS5, please include me, as I'd like to get in for the whole week next time. Great for getting me to step out of my normal photo routes.
Ok - game on!
Here is my fine art....
