I was asked to play with smoke and fire for get pushed this week, and boy was it fun! (There are several others but this quick double & flip was my favorite.)

This one. Taken at sunset in a local cemetery. I like the feel of it, and it didn't require much processing. Winter skies are the best.

January 18th, 2015
Difficult to choose because I've had a fun week, but I'll go with this one of my son, Jonathan:

I love this one because of the water and yeah, duck's butt haha

January 18th, 2015

January 18th, 2015

This is not technically my best picture of the week, but it made me smile to get these dragons out. My youngest , who is now 21, used to play with these and write stories about their adventures, about a decade ago. I still remember the voices we used and the differences in their assigned personalities.
January 18th, 2015

Brought me back memories...
January 18th, 2015

January 20th, 2015

I've never had a kereru (NZ wood pigeon) come this close in the garden and there were three of them feeding there that evening. It was a real bonus when the clicks from the camera caught the bird's attention enough for it to look, but didn't scare it away.
January 20th, 2015

I love the colors and reflections.
January 20th, 2015
