I was asked to play with smoke and fire for get pushed this week, and boy was it fun! (There are several others but this quick double & flip was my favorite.)
I have always wanted to photograph the patterns and shapes at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. This week was my first opportunity of many more, I hope.
I love this one because my guinea pigs are constantly moving and it's hard to take a clear picture of them. But they stayed long enough for me to get a cute one so here are my boys!
I had a great time walking the trail on the Konza Prairie on Friday. The weather was beautiful and I took a whole bunch of pictures. I like this one looking up toward the top of a high vantage point.
This is not technically my best picture of the week, but it made me smile to get these dragons out. My youngest , who is now 21, used to play with these and write stories about their adventures, about a decade ago. I still remember the voices we used and the differences in their assigned personalities.
I went out looking for deer today and came across this fox trying to take a nap. The picture may not be the best but it is my favorite because I had such a fun time searching for subjects.
I've never had a kereru (NZ wood pigeon) come this close in the garden and there were three of them feeding there that evening. It was a real bonus when the clicks from the camera caught the bird's attention enough for it to look, but didn't scare it away.
Great lighting!
One and only shot this year!

I simply love the blue colors.
I
I had some rare spare time on Friday afternoon and got to my chosen spot at a good time.
I loved taking out the toys and playing with this shot

I've been playing with colour and water, need some more ideas
I think the story attached to the photo will explain why this is my favourite of the week.
This is my favourite of the week because it is my first try at capturing mist and I was happy with how it turned out.

Brought me back memories...
This is my favourite, I love the way the lake has frozen into a spectacular pattern
I like this one because I could not get out of the house that day and had to find something to shoot in the house.
I just really like how this one turned out.
I chose this photo because it makes me feel very calm and happy when I look at it.
Because it made it all the way to the popular page. : )

I love the colors and reflections.
I pick this one because I got up very early on my day off from work to capture this shot. I was very pleased with the result.
I love the colours on the parrots that we have in Australia. This one is called a Ring Neck Parrot.
I always love a lone tree and this was the only picture I took because it was 20 degrees out there and windy.
