I had so much fun looking through all the entries and I enjoyed all the creativity that has been put in the photos. Great job everyone!
It did made it so hard for me to pick only a few for voting and I found a renewed respect for all the challenge hosts. It is such a hard job to narrow it down to only a few and I still feel a bit guilty for leaving some great shots out.
Voting starts now and ends Thursday 20th when the winner, who will get the honor to pick a new mundane object and host the next challenge, will be announced.
@bobolaf I guess it is allowed. If the person wins both challenges he or she will have a lot of work to do, lol. Besides, it is just such a fine line between 'regular' and abstract. I was really wondering where I had to put my coin entry.
Just to make sure, @grizzlyghost you started the mundane challenge, it's okay to have the same finalist in both challenges, right?
As it appears to be my shot that is causing this confusion, I would be more than happy to drop out of the abstract vote altogether. I did initially just enter this shot into this competition as a direct mundane item, but someone suggested I should also enter it into the abstract voting too. I didn't in a million years think it would be a finalist in one of the votes let alone both of them.

Come to think of it it isn't unusual to enter the same shot for more then one challenge and what happens afterwards is up to the challenge hosts and voters.
2 - Wow, that was tough, they were all very well captured.
The kicker was the contrast between the yellow flowers and the black pens, the creativeness of using the pens as the center of a flower. Very well done @darrenboyj
