i expect i'm going to regret this, but... there have been a fair number of folks going missing in action of late, causing frustration and disappointment for their partners... i normally do a housekeeping thread every few months to make sure the list only includes the active players, but i haven't had time of late...
soooooo... i'm going to do a housekeeping thread combined with the challenge thread FOR THIS WEEK ONLY...
here's how it will work... i'm tagging everyone who has played over the past few months... if you want to stay on the list and keep playing, respond to this thread... as players respond, i will rebuild my list, and announce pairs on the fly...
-- Monday May 19th thru Sunday May 25th - take a picture (or pictures) in response to the challenge issued to you, and post it with the tag: Get-Pushed-96, and comment on the photos taken in response to your challenge
-- Monday, May 16th - the winner of week 95 will pick 5 finalists for a vote

How to play:
TO ISSUE A CHALLENGE
1. Click on your partner's name to get to their profile
2. Browse through the last couple of months of photos to get a feel for what they shoot and don't shoot etc.
3. Post an introduction on their last photo, and also issue the challenge you are setting.
RESPOND TO A CHALLENGE
4. You have until midnight next Sunday, to take and post your shot or shots.
5. When posting your shot WRITE A SHORT DESCRIPTION about
-- who challenged you,
-- what the challenge was,
-- what you found hard about it etc.
You really should do this because if nothing else, it helps the previous week's winner when they have to choose this week's finalists... besides, if someone is cruising the photos with a "get pushed" tag, they like to see what the challenge was when looking at your photo :)
6. Make sure to tag your shot for the challenge.... Get-Pushed-96
7. Tag your challenger in a COMMENT (not just your write-up). You MUST tag your partner in a separate comment... tagging them in your write-up of your photo is not sufficient as it will not result in them getting a notification...
ALSO
8. it is nice to visit the photo that was made in response to your challenge and offer some comments and maybe even some constructive criticism...
9. On the Monday after the challenge is over, the winner of the previous week will pick 5 finalists for a vote, this can be based purely on their fav photos, who they felt best met the challenge etc, etc.
@northy I can only repeat the complements on your efforts here, and would like to continue participating. I am learning a lot through this challenge. :)
Still out for about three more weeks, but after June 6th, I'll be set free for summer vacation (I'm a teacher), and then I'd like to be included. I will let you know. Thank you for your hard work!
Am I the only one who is seeing the week's list as one big paragraph and not a two column listing as per usual? I don't know if I'm supposed to be paired up with the person my name or after. lol @northy

I have once again started posting every day after taking a sabbatical, so would like to get back to the challenge.
Definitely still want to be in Northy. Thank you so much. I can't always post in a timely manner at the moment due to house repairs/disruptions, but I am still participating.

Oh I am so in. I am getting out of it just what I wanted a challenge that pushes my skills. I can now do light trails, low-key, and high-key just to mention a few new skills. Thanks to all that challenged me.

This is my absolute favorite challenge, but I'm one of those that has been mia I'm afraid. Been struggling with some depression, and now going away for a week to see my grandbabies. Will jump back on board when I get home! ANd thank you SO much for hosting this challenge!
