Clavell Tower at Kimmeridge Bay, Dorset

An imposing tower perched on a cliffside, it's been moved away from the crumbling cliffs. Didn't need to lose much colour for this, it really was grey and cold and pouring so didn't fossil hunt for long!

Kimmeridge is famous for its oil shale and fossils. The newly opened Ethches Collection museum is full of fossils only found in Kimmeridge clay and is a fascinating place to visit.
Nice in B/W moody capture.
