St Martin's in the Field

This church is so serene, calm, beautiful and snowy white. (also has the best cafe in Trafalgar Square down in the crypt!!). The organist was tuning the organ and playing snippets of carols.

@carole_sandford Had tickets to British Library 'History of Magic' exhibition (one book was 200 yers old when Henry VIII owned it!!) and we went via St Martin's, the Lego and M&Ms stores in Leicester Square, St Paul's Cathedral and a burger bar!! Apparantly we walked 2100 steps!

@robz St Martins does a lot for homeless and much of proceeds from the fab cafe supports their night shelter projects.
@susanharvey it is such an uncelebrated church. If you ever in Trafalgar Square do visit it.

I have often been to the coffee shop in the crypt, but never to the church itself
Must rectify that next time I go there. Love the crypt though, wonderful arches and great coffee!!!
