'Edging Out Summer

I am not a great gardenner, so my plants thrive on whole-sale neglect. I garden four times a year, once a season. This is the little self seeded sunflower that is positively thriving on said neglect. The Virginia creeper hedge is beginnig to show signs that I did the autumn garden activites at the right time.
Ha ha, oh that did make me smile! Four times a year! Simply superb. It looks pretty darned good on neglect :)

Beautiful. I am with you as far as gardening goes. Sadly the sunflowers I planted died during 42 degree C heat last summer. Maybe you can give me some tips.
