Here, but not Here.

There are a number of community poppy displays taking place and we visited one on Hayling Island today.

They wanted 6000 poppies, and they received 18,000. I was taken by the ghostly, perspex soldiers, who are very difficult to photograph. He shows up more on black.

I love the significance of the Perspex soldier what a lovely shot.

There is a display of hand crafted poppies at the War Memorial in Canberra at the moment, I would have loved to photograph them, but they are only there until Remembrance Day and we aren't going to Canberra until January next year. So sorry that I will miss it.
