Janus is the Roman god of new beginnings, gates and endings. I remember reading about Janus in my Ladybird book of Christmas. A god that looks in two directions, forward and back. I'm good at forward planning, even better at looking back and regreting not following the plan.
This is me trying to fulfil three things, get pushed person motion blur (I'm a person), January words (Janus) and the Dogwood 52 week challenge thingy to do a self portrait that tells you who I am, without actually showing my face.
Too much of my face showed so I've filtered me through a bathroom window. I think I've failed at week one but too uninterested now to faff more. Probably looks best with eyes closed?
Three good things?
Hardly snacked today
It didn't rain
Finished a good biography ( The Yorkshire Shepherdess)
OMG your last sentence!!! Hysterical!!! I think the image is thoroughly fascinating, and it reminds me of the image of Janus I used on the cover of an artist's book I created several years ago... I titled it, "Two Sides to Every Story"... And then there's the childrens' song "It depends on how you look at things!"
