Kali challenged me do a dark food shot. She even gave me a a helpful YouTube clip to watch.
I had a plan to stage an after dinner type shot using the light from the dining room window.
I didn't need to buy the dark food (chocolates) but did trawl the charity shops for an espresso set.
I then faffed with balancing my dark boards (yep- wine bottles used again) getting the light and focus and PoV. I then attempted to knowledgebly faff with the processing and did a bit of contrast, sharpen and something else.

@olivetreeann you'll get a bargain post Christmas @onewing it was cold tea in the cup and it's not visible!!
