Black Swan by 30pics4jackiesdiamond

Black Swan

Their mate was sat on a floating platform, tittivating the nest, with a huge egg balanced precariously on the edge which was ignored whole time.
Such a fabulous close up and detail!

Wonderful close up. Is this the same swan you photographed sometime ago? I like the detail and I learned a new word today. One has to assume they knew what they were doing with that egg.

Very nice close up of the swan. Do they usually have feathers on their face/beak like this or are did they stick there when it dipped its head in the water where they were floating or flying in the air.
