Love a bit of Paganism

Wonderfully colourful Advent candles, brightly lit tree and the altar screening off the pews!

Porchester Church has been turned into a socially distancable cafe .

I think this is a first for me. I love your photo. Does this mean it’s used as the restaurant during the week and church on Sunday? That might be a practical way to support the church.

It does Katy! I think C19 has closed it for worship, but the community cafe uses the space very well.

The ultimate definition of church to me - services are such a small part of being a vibrant community, so I love this! Love your pov too

It seems a lot of your English churches are having to be repurposed. You're right about Churches being the community's gathering center, regardless of the reason. Cafe isn't such a bad idea......
