awww, so cute. Yes, I'm very familiar with that sort of decor. I don't think I have a piece of clothing that doesn't have some dog or cat hair either lol
Whoops...did I try to make a joke and instead, left "an elephant in the room" that no one's going to touch! In this instance, the "towel" is the decor in question...necessitated by *obvious* fat cat!
Nice cat + pretty decent furniture= *charming drapes" we scurry to remove if we're having company! It can be difficult to find a fur-free zone in a house with cats!

Thanks so much Louise...I added the tag line. I love your cat...we had a cat named Murphy that looked so much like your cat. He lived to be 17 and he weighed in at 27lbs. He was quite a character. As for the towel...I think we may have that exact same one and many many more all over the house...lol. I don't remember what the furniture looks like.
Wow, your Murphy was a *big* boy, too! Tabby here, rocks the scales at 25#. All my cats eat the same; surely neighbors aren't feeding him, mistaking his for a stray!
Thanks for the comment on my moon shot.... in hindsight it actually wasn't that hard.... once I figured out that I shouldn't trust the meter when taking a night shot like that. I don't think that a great shot of the moon is outside of anyone's capability given that they have the right equipment. The shutter speed was pretty fast so I didn't even need a tripod.... A longer lens however would have been nice...
My cats LOVE to lay on any clothes they can find. It's really annoying! I will lay an outfit out and get in the shower and return to my 12 pound cat snoring on them! I buy them cozy cat beds but they refuse to sleep in them lol!
ohh what a fat happy cat :) I am more of a dog person..but I also think cats are super adorable...especially this one! look at the way its sleeping, he looks so spoiled hehe great lighting too!

Thank you for your note - so nice to be missed. :)) Yes, I have gotten a bit behind but I took this Monday off so I have a whole three day weekend to get caught up with my own pictures and more importantly to get caught up with enjoying everyone else's photos too! When I can't spend as much time as I want on this site I really miss it!

Awwww, I love this kitty! I don't bother to cover things. My friends know they risk walking around covered in cat hair after they come over! I also keep a lint roller in my van.

I'm upstairs in the spare room working on taxes (or I should be, but I keep distracting myself with the computer) but Otis is asleep on a towel I placed on the bed for him...easier than trying to keep him off it. Yep, we all do this! Oh, and glad you like my post today...I was grasping at straws to get something to post. I was at a tech conference most of the day..stopped a couple times on way home to take some photos but didn't like them when I uploaded them to computer...so then I started walking around the house looking for something to photograph! Anyway, it wasn't my best photo but at least it's nice to know I put a smile on a few peoples' faces!
I totally keep towels on my living room furniture too! Of course, My cat usually tries to bury himself underneath them. Being a cat owner can be so challenging sometimes :-)
