Come Visit Me in My Studio... by Weezilou

Come Visit Me in My Studio...

You knew I couldn't let it go, didn't you? The subject came up the other day, so I wanted to show you where I work.

I'm in an area called The Grove in Mile Square Park, and I had to be careful not to step back while photographing one squirrel, so as not to trip over another! I brought a second camera so my "human tripod" (so named by Craig Paterson, cleverly, I thought) could capture me with my models.

You all were amazing, sharing your comments a couple days ago, and it was great fun sharing "squirrel cult" photos. Here's one more Allison Williams left for me at the bottom of the page after most of you had left. http://is.gd/b5Kvo I may be off the deep end, but I'm not alone! Thank you for sharing in the fun, and you've been kinder than I deserve...
Nice "behind the scenes" shot.

Love the nail polish! And great to see the context of the squirrel passion (obsession?). Looks warm and bright....today we have snow, rain and it is just COLD. You picture brings in the sunshine.

Oh Louise, I love this one, most especially because you are in it!
But I also love that you captured the two of them.
You know, pretty soon, they'll be calling you by name and stopping by for tea!

I just ADORE your squirrels! Please keep them coming!

And thank you so very much for all of your supportive and encouraging comments. I just want you to know that they are helping to keep me going! ;-)

Love going behind the scenes! I can't believe you are able to get this close. Maybe it's just because I have the dog, but the squirrels around here don't like to pose for shots! It's been so much fun seeing all of your squirrelly ways. Keep them coming. :)
March 30th, 2010

Theresa...that would take some ingenuity...speaking as a person with a couple of tabby cats names "Tabby" and "Tabby Junior"...
March 31st, 2010
Drat...I should have saved this picture for 1 to 10!
March 31st, 2010

Thank you for your nice comment about my reflection photo. It's like a cherry on top of an ice cream sundae to get such nice feedback.
March 31st, 2010
I really like your squirrel photos. Our grey squirrels don't have so much red in them...yours are so much prettier to look at.
