This is one of my favorite places for a Sunday Brunch in Orange County! They have an amazing selection of delicious food, from the typical morning choices to far above and beyond! I love fish, creatively prepared, and on my plate are some of my favorites. On the won-ton square is my *very most favorite*, Ahi Poki, then salmon with capers, and a shrimp cevichi, one of the two choices they have available. No brunch is complete without dessert, and they offered *gigantic* chocolate-dipped strawberries, and cream puffs. Remember my "Blue Hawaii" back in the alphabet for "U"? Yep, had one of those, too, there on the side.
If all that weren't enough, a pair of Hawaiian musicians and a gorgeous hula dancer came to our table to play & sing Iz's "Somewhere Over the Rainbow/Wonderful World" and a Hawaiian standard, "Waikiki". It's as close as I can get to being back in the islands for the time being, but it runs a close second...
Jason, thanks for bringing me a special plate to make my picture look just that much better! You and the folks who work there are Just The Best! **Aloha & Mahalo**
lovely appointed treats and as the saying goes "eat from all your food groups" you picked some very delectiable ones. May i ask you if you received my e-mail?
Your descriptions always make us feel that we have been right there with you as you live life's small moments. I can almost hear those musicians playing at your table, and see the hula dancer smiling at you. The food looks very inviting, too ....
Louise, I love the color combination - all reds, browns, and yellows. And then in the right corner this almost "poisonous" green. What is in that glass? Great contrast.
Don't you just love it when the food tastes as good as it looks...or in this case looks as good as it tastes! Love all the pretty colors. Nice! Wish I had a place like this near me...sounds like a wonderful place to go on a beautiful afternoon!
