But not enough adjectives in the dictionary to tell you how much your friendship has come to mean to me!
I've been here 100 days today and I'm not the same person I was back on Day 1 because of *You*. You drew me in with your creativity, your humor, those first kind comments, the insights into your corner of the world, and the way you even began to share your family stories, the husbands, wives and kids. I've had the opportunity to arm-chair travel with you, and you've been with me as I've shared the little joys in my own life. You've enriched my every day, and I get up each morning looking forward to seeing what you've brought to show us all.
I loved sharing the alphabet (and now numbers) challenge with you, and I look at every entry every day. Thank you for making what's been a good life, just that much better for sharing this year with you. If I were to add a song to my caption, as so many of you do, the first that just comes to mind is "You Light Up My Life". Thank you for that, sincerely.
Let me finish introducing myself... It's Louise Muenstermann.
Holy moly, cutest lady ever! yay, I am the first one to say, thanks to you! You are the one who creates all the wonderful people all around you by first being wonderfully giving, with your comments and photos! I have a feeling we ALL thank YOU!
awwww ur words are so touching , i love ur words !! dont know if u are but u should be a writter if u are not already !!
u brighten my day when ever i read a comment not only on my photos, everyones. Ur just so loveable xxxx keep those photos coming !!!
Today's devotional includes these words from 2 Corinthians, "the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully" It is your generosity of spirit that has expanded and nurtured your 365 friendships. You have been a light to us all. Happy 100!
Aww Shucks, you are so welcome. Let me just say the love you receive is equal to the love you give and you give SO much. I can always count on you to bring a smile to my face and make feel special.
what a beautiful gesture......everyone else has pretty much said how I feel too but I want you to know that I always look forward to YOUR comments on my pictures and other pictures as well...you have an amazing way with words and always seem to express what I WANT to say but I cant find the words.....like even now!!! LOL Have a blessed day!!
Thank You right back ! Your spirit shines with generosity. I always look forward to checking out 365 every morning & your comments & photos make me happy every day!
This is such a beautiful statement...and picture to represent it. Makes me think. I didn't realize that there were just 8 letters in thank you...and such a simple gesture which is sometimes left unsaid. I too look forward to your comments and your pictures. I NEED this site...as it gives me routine, socialization, and just something to hang onto when everything seems to be gone. I thank you as well...for your comments and your friendship, but mostly, I thank you for your support. Hugs to you, Louise, from all the over to the other side of the states and to all my other new 365er friends.
Louise, I have read each of these comments and they are such a testament to what can be brought to one's life when one GIVES. And you are a Giver. A sweet and loving and funny and supportive and encouraging Giver. I am always amazed to see how many friends you are supporting with your comments. And your words aren't just one-word "hurry-let's-get-it-over-with" kind of words. They have meaning and insight and they show that you are really looking and are coming to know the people on this site. How precious of you to post this "Thank You" and to write such meaningful words. We all send an even bigger "Thank You" back to you! Sweet Hugs to you ....
How lovely. Thank you for being on the journey with us. My posting may be a bit "thin" over the next few days. There's been a death in the parish - one of the office bearers who has been a key figure in the life of the church over recent years. I'm going to be a bit tied up with extra visits etc into next week. Funeral will be on Monday. I'll keep trying to take pictures but there won't be time to comment on many photographs....but....since you are the "hub" of a big circle then folk will get this message and understand. I'll pop in when I can as the enjoyment of the art work of others has been enriching my life and the stories that are emerging are an important part of my on-line day! Catch up with you on Friday - tomorrow. For now.... I'll sign off and probably not be around the computer until late tonight.
Louise, I had noticed that you had added your last name ... it threw me momentarily! I guess you'll always be "Louise M" to me! Ha!
I don't have time to read through everyone else's comments to you right now, so I'll probably be repeating, BUT ... thank YOU! You are so kind nad generous in your comments to so many 365ers. It never fails to amaze me where I find your comments! You have built your circle though all that you give. You are a shining example to all of us ...
I think it is obvious that everyone loves Louise! I'm just going to call her Mom from now on! But, I'll keep my last name. Louise's has too many syllables for us fast talking little guys.
Hey!! Louise, i want you to know that the feeling is mutual.. 365 has changed my life and my outlook towards things too and when I see your comments its inspiring because you take time to write and express your views and thats a precious thing for a person like me who is sitting on the other side of the world. As I know some one will see my work and take time to tell me whether its good or bad and when people take time for u its obvious that they care....and thats the most genuine gesture in the world...Your encouragement mean a lot and thankks for being there and being like the way u are
Oh Louise! You are just the sweetest thing EVER! I would like to invite you into one of my non-365 projects if you are interested. It is completely centered around random acts of kindness - I just mail out a card once in a while. A little hello and smile. Something in your mailbox other than bills. I don't do it all the time and it is not on a "schedule" so it is always a surprise. I would like to add you to my list. If you don't mind, email me your mailing address: autumnseden@gmail.com. =)
You are TOO funny --- I don't care to take another snow picture before NOVEMBER - 7" - HA! Course, I know, there will be more snow ... I'd just like to see the color of tulips or daffodils against the white!
Hi Louise Muenstermann;-)
I don't have much time right now but I just wanted to say thank you for YOUR kind words and your interest in all of us. I think if there were a prize for most supportive and kind person in the 365project it would definitely go to you!
Keep smiling at us!
I have dubbed you "The Earth-Mother of 365"! At least, that's how I refer to you when speaking to my friends and family. Ha! You know that among my large group of life-long friends, there is one particular friend that is the nurturing center of our little band, and that is the only other person upon whom I have ever bestowed that title. You, my dear, are a very special human being. Thanks for all your kind comments and support...and may I say, witty repartee. :-)
I share the exact same sentiments as The Sheridan Avenue Boys...You Rock! I still have days when I'm not sure I will last the whole year doing this project. I work a full time job and I also have a part time job in the evenings. I'm usually not posting until Midnight. I feel as though I'm running on auto pilot each and everyday. It's people like you that keep me going with this. I'm not very good at writing so my comments are usually very short but hopefully meaningful. The boys are the ones with the wit...lol. You're making this project worth the while for so many people so Thank You!
Awwww happy 100th shot! I'm so happy to have met you on this wonderful project. Your daily comments are little bits of happiness that fulfill my day. Thank YOU! :) This is a great shot by the way. :)
When I began this project I thought it was just a place to post my pics for taking a pic a day this year. But I soon learned that there was a comment option and I could comment on others' pics and they could comment on mine. Then I discovered, especially with the alphabet challenge, that there were so many nice people on this site and it coming here each day was something I looked forward to. I would like to thank you for your comments on my pics as well as what you share with everyone.
You threw me for a loop when you told me that this was your 100th day. Congratulations on making it to that number. I say you threw me for a loop because I had calculated that April 10th was my 100th day, and I knew that either you or I was incorrect. But then i checked and saw that you started on December 29th. Glad to know my math skills are still in good order.
And one more note....As a follower of my postings I would ask you and any others who read this comment, do you think I need a new profile pic?
The most beautiful words ever. Thank you Louise. It's really nice to know you too. The photo is so lovely.
Of course thank you for every other wonderful people in 365 too.
Well gosh Louise. You made my day :) I don't know how to respond back but to repeat EVERY WORD you said and resay it to my whole 365 family. I feel the exact same way but havnt ever been able to put it into words. You wrote this perfectly...and you are such a kind-hearted person. This is why I love 365, because of people like you!!!!!
Hi Louise! Your words are beautiful and touching. I am so glad I'm back again, I've missed your lovely photos & kind words! I agree, it certainly is a wonderful way to travel around with others on their life journeys.
my heartfelt thanks go to you, dear dear louise, for being such a sincerely kind and generous person. Your name spells W O N D E R F U L - now that's a nine for today.
Only you can think of this wonderful photo (above)!
Louise, I will keep my profile pic for now but may try to come up with a self portrait as one of my next 267 pics. Stay tuned. And that 100 Strangers project is definitely interesting but I don't think I could ever do it, not having the personality to go up to strangers and talk to them. But I guess that is what the project is supposed to accomplish; to get you to go outside your comfort zone. Maybe. Maybe sometime in the future. I did go to flickr and browse some of the albums and see that a lot are pics without asking permission, just pictures of strangers. At least it isn't a project that would require you to do a stranger a day. LOL!!
Oh Louise! Thank YOU! Your thoughtful comments really make my day. I can always tell that you really look at the photos and remember past pictures - you are amazing!
I agree with Ray, I just thought this would be a way for me to keep track on one year of photos, but it has been so much more than that. I hardly ever go on Facebook anymore, I'd rather spend my limited on-line time here with my new friends that I have never met.
Congratulations on your 100th pic! Keep up the great work.
Thanks, Louise! I was having trouble finding something for #7 when this riddle popped into my head. Then, I just had to figure out how to take a picture of it ... I wish it were something *more,* but some days are just gonna be better than others! But, this IS part of my life, after all!
woah...it only took me about 10 minutes to scroll my way past all the comments so I could leave my little mark here..... ;)
Are you loved at 365??!!?!?!?!?!?! Just a little!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You clearly bring so much to this community. We should be the ones thanking you.
Super cute photo idea btw..
:)
Louise - I see when you started your project it took nearly a month before the communication was flowing. Within an hour of posting my first picture a week ago you had already welcomed me and started drawing me in - showing me that I could be part of the community too. You are one of live's rare souls - and it's a privilage to meet you and be able to share pictures, ideas and comments with you. Thank YOU.
Hey... congrats on reaching 100 (not literally of course... :-)...),thanks for all your comments and for spending so much of your time helping and geeing up everyone... you are indeed a star
louise..to answer your question, yes we knew each other as children, long time ago, and will see each other as adults for the first time this summer! i'm excited already.
The author Dick Francis was a jockey and all the books are murder mysteries set against the backdrop of the horse racing world....rather 'mindless' but sometimes you don't want to be challenged - you just need to escape for your brain/emotions/spirit to process and heal....
Ahhh, Louise, thank you for your always kind comments. You are a breath of fresh air in a world that is sometimes turmoil. Your attitude is an inspiration.
And...I REALLY REALLY think you should load some Velvia of Provia in the TLR and give it a go again. I would bet that a.) it will challenge you (as they force you to) really compose an image, and b.) the images would blow anything away on any site.
Most importantly, it is not necessarily the camera, but the individual, and if anyone could make something great with it, it would be you!
No, thank YOU Louise. I have to say that my wife lurks 365 as a viewer and she told me once a few weeks back, "I really like that lady Louise". So in addition to me your friendliness extends to my extended family as well! Simply incredible...
Thank you Louise, your comments have given me the confidence to keep posting and the courage to keep exploring this great community. I am very happy to have met you and enjoyed your humor and joy. smile.
Aww, how creative! You are awesome Louise, your comments are always well welcomed on my page and I'm sure others would agree - you always have such great insight ...
I always smile when I see a thoughtful comment from sweet Louise!!! :)
Thanks Louise for coming to my defense (or rather the defense of my frozen hamburger!) I hope that everyone will look more kindly at my puzzle in the morning.
I love Robert Louis Stevenson too :) Thank you so much for the praise!!I am honored to have such an impact on all of you, when really it is YOU that has truly impacted my life in a positive way. SO glad we met! :)
ps) Charlie was out again today!!! I took almost 100 pictures of him :) He always let's me get within 3 feet from where hes chowin down so I got some awesome close ups :) He's my favorite squirrel ever!! I have around 5 I like a lot and am having so much trouble choosing!
congrats on reaching 100 days! your whole caption is truley touching and i feel the same way. every morning i wake up and cant wait for my computer to load up to see if wonderful people like you commented on my photos. i also love looking through everyones photos because they simple inspire me to be more creative. I simply have nothing left to say except thank you!
Yay on hitting the Century Mark (in photos, of course!) Like Sue, I think of you as our "Earth Mother" - always a kind word to bring a smile to someone else's face. Thank you for being YOU, Louise.
(PS - you have eight clips in that shot, right? It works for the Numbers challenge too! ;))
Yep, it was the eight clips that first caught my eye when I started stalking the numbers, but today was all about "Thank You"... You know though, you're the first to notice, **Mady Bright Eyes!**
Wow Louise is this a record for the most comments on a photo? I love this little community, it has spurred my creativity on and I love all of the insights into other people's lives.
Louise - you're quite welcome and thank you for YOUR comment, as well. It's really been a pleasure getting to know you and all of my new 365 friends. :-)
I agree with everything said above. Just over 3 months into this project and it feels like everyone knows each other already! Imagine how we will be at the end of the year!
Oh my friend....this is the loveliest post, and you are a Dear.
Clearly, everyone else thinks so, too.
I am so happy that you've had such delightful responses.
I know I look forward to your pictures every single day, but more, I look forward to your cheery notes...as they always brighten my day.
And how wonderful of you to take the time to write a special note to everyone else as well.
I'm so glad that you have found this project to be so rewarding, and am happy that your Ken is so supportive of this new, life changing passion( I have a sweetie like this, too! ).
