When I protested that I haven't photographed much variety recently but for flowers, cats and squirrels, it was Helene who first shot me a comment that you all still love squirrels. I checked the tag, and sure enough, they certainly are popular subjects! We still take our morning walks in a nearby park, and I'm not lying when I tell you they come running up to us for a handout. Since we began feeding them last year, we've encountered a number of walkers with bags of nuts for them also. It's been an interesting way to meet like-minded people, but I haven't seen anyone else photographing them. Such a pity, for they're engaging little animals. And they don't protest having their picture taken as my cat does!
Such a great close up! Personally, I can never get enough squirrels, and after all those snowy shots, nobody's posted any for ages! This one looks like she's nursing..?
Louise, somehow I knew you would come through. We are always happy to see you stop by, and we always welcome a photo of squirrels. Glad to hear all is well with the family, and we are eager to see an updated photo or two, or three of the Grandbaby. Didn't mean to stir up things and bring you out of your quiet time, but we were all curious to know you were all doing well, after all, you have been one of our favorites here on 365 for quite some time. Thanks for the update.
Hey!! So lovely to see you uploading photos! What a cute squirrel! You know, it almost looks like it might be a nursing momma squirrel. I don't think I have any good photos of them, aside from a little black baby squirrel last summer.
Didn't know you were back online until I talked to Allison today! That was happy news! So how are you and Clark doing? Has life settled down some since (what seemed like) your world tour?
So good to hear from you Louise! I haven't been on 365 for awhile now. I think I was actually a little depressed when I finished the project. I missed everyone on the site and I still do. I've just been so busy with work and life that I haven't been able to get back in the swing of things. I look back now and I can't believe I lasted a whole year.
I hope that you and Ken are doing well. I've been seeing all the photos of your adorable grandson on facebook. He is the cutest little guy!
I love this photo Louise! I swear I will never not think of you when I see a squirrel...lol...and since I see them just about everyday...you're always in my thoughts : )
@Parisouailleurs I think you asked for this... Sorry it took so long!
Welcome back!
2010 sure did bring some squirrel photos to the fore :)
How is that new grandbaby doing? 6 weeks ago, Anna Grace joined my little grandson, Thomas http://365project.org/hwy61/365-2011/2011-03-09 and http://365project.org/hwy61/365-2011/2011-03-18 and so now I have 2 sweet little grands! http://365project.org/hwy61/365-2011/2011-03-19 Unfortunately she spent 4 days back in the hospital last week http://365project.org/hwy61/365-2011/2011-04-17 but now is back home and doing well!
Feel free to shamelessly share a few of your photos with me, too!!!
