Cake for 3000 by Weezilou

Cake for 3000

What to do afloat at sea all day? Why not eat again?! I would love to see behind the scenes in the kitchens aboard ship as there's no end to the output of food! At noon, and for the next couple hours, a banquet was laid out down the length of the promenade filled with laden tables of tasty edibles. Out of the many "Food Photos", I chose the cake as it was an impressive three layers, and the biggest sheet cake I've ever seen! It's adorned with a map of our voyage, but I only enjoyed it visually and didn't have a slice.
Louise, my goodness, I don't know that I could have passed up on a slice of the cake. You are right though, the food is unending on those cruises.

I'm certainly impressed at your self-control. That is one reason I will not go on a cruise. Unending quantities of food and my tendency to motion sickness is not a happy combination!

Oh No! You have to have the cake!!! I've been dreaming about cake lately, but Bob and I joined weight watchers so it's not part of our diet right now. Good job getting this big cake in the shot. I have no idea how those kitchens handle preparing all of that food each day.
