We've accomplished all we can to get ready...packing done...notes written...laundry finished...errands run...leftovers packed up...kitties cuddled...
One more sleep and we're outta here in the morning.
On the road again...
(Leaving for a week in Chicago before spending the summer in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. We'll be back in Chicago in mid-October to celebrate our grandson's first birthday... Where is the time going?!!)
@bpizzo just left an explanatory note for Marilyn Mittens... Maybe I should add that to the caption! Yes, we're bookending our summer stay with a few weeks in Chicago, the best part of all!
Well Louise, that time did go fast. I cannot believe in October the little one will be a year old already. Have a wonderful time and a safe trip to your summer getaway.

What a busy year you have had. I admire your flexibility to move from one area to another so quickly. Have fun with your family in Chicago and then a wonderful summer in Nova Scotia. So much fun to see this beautiful country through your eyes.

Hello, Mrs. L - we just got back from Santa Fe- had a wonderful 4 days with family that we only get to see every 3-4 years if we're lucky. I trust you had a safe trip to Chicago and will have a wonderful flight to Lunenberg. I know you'll have a wonderful time seeing your daughters and grandson. Awh man, I wonder if you have internet access in Lunenburg & will see this. I'm going to be there for 2 days in a few weeks. Small world. I can't believe you get to spend the whole SUMMER there! Me=jealous!
Louise.....missing the photos of your daily life in Lunenburg this year. It's probably sad without Dill there to greet you every day. I can't believe your grandson will be one in a few months.......as I can't believe our "grand" twins are 7 months old today!!! Enjoy the rest of your summer!
