Across a vacant lot, nearly hidden from the street, I spotted this, and an adjacent sign for whaling supplies... Lunenburg has been a fishing village for many generations, but these seemed out of place...until I remembered the television movie of Moby Dick was being filmed around here last summer (or was it two years ago?) It certainly takes a little movie magic to make that signage look so weathered and authentic!
