The oranges are such a nice compliment to the shadows and the black. I love those flowers (?) My mom has them in her garden and I always say I need to get some for myself. The light is gorgeous this time of year.
@hbdaly These are called Chinese Lanterns, and would you believe they're three years old?! They just dry like this and hold their color...but don't look too closely or you'll see the dust!
Well it's an amazing photo, and I think sometimes there is a connection that we do not understand. At times it appears to be more than just a coincidence.
@tabbycat Thanks for that! I was looking around my house the other day and I seem to have amassed a number of cats of various art forms...but then, why am I not surprised?
love the shadows and your pretty subject. :) still no actual rain drops today... just waiting... noah and I both took a long, much needed nap today. we all have those days.
