It was another wonderful afternoon at the bandstand across the park! John Malmstrom, on clarinet, http://www.johnmalmstrom.com/ came up to welcome us as we arrived which was exceedingly nice of him. (He's got some nice music clips on his website.) Did I mention we found out he's from Costa Mesa, California, just about 3 miles from where we live?! (He lives in Nova Scotia currently.) Sadly, my videos have poor sound quality due to sitting directly under the speakers, but have a quick look at this wonderfully animated group! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4Lr2cKAa6w&list=UUGxqym6Iw-IaQUWHGwwvRtQ&index=1&feature=plpp_video
We think they're exceptional entertainers and musicians! How lucky are we to have all this right across the street from where we live?!
This Is s very beautiful collage Louise love how you have photographed the different Jazz players seperate and the Colours are awsome its a fav for me Gerry.
Oh, soooo fun! I loved your YouTube video!! She (Cynthia Meyers) is adorable...looks like she's straight from the 30's era with her marvelous hat, pearls and outfit. Wonderful, fun, summertime post, Louise!
It is your great good fortune to have these musicians so near, and our good fortune to have you there to record them for us. Such vivid colors to represent the energy of the music.
