After a 1-hour walk alongside the water and in the hot sun, friends, passing on bikes told us of a lemonade stand further up the road run by 7-year old Samantha. Always ready to encourage the entrepreneurial spirit, we each bought a nice glass of refreshing lemonade and a blueberry muffin for a Toonie. Her mother and little sister were there to support her efforts, and I like to think she did well for the day!
@abbydooby Her mother gave me permission to take the picture, and I thought of doing just as you suggested. I would leave it at the front gate and I know it would be a surprise :-)
@boysami I noticed the attention to detail, too, only after I posted the picture. I'm impressed that her mom did so much behind the scenes to assist her!
