This is the latest we've stayed in Nova Scotia, and the changes from Autumn's brilliant blanket of colour to the bare silhouetted trees is a joy to capture with my camera! We're down to the short strokes...we fly out on Wednesday. Ken drove me around for at least an hour, capturing more of the beauty that captivates us here. We hate to leave, but we'll have a wealth of "stock photography" to fill the winter months if we get homesick for our summer home!
You have a nice view across the lake, and the color of those building really stand out nicely. So I assume you are flying back to California, or is it Chicago?
@digitalrn That's the harbor; the picture was taken from the edge of the golf course across the way. The red is meant to be seen in the fog! We're going to Chicago for a week to see Bodhi, then home to Calif on the 19th. The morning of the 20th we're taking a train up the coast to see the other two boys! Not ready to stay home just yet! @chard You might have something there, Richard! The temp is hovering around 40 and we might have snow flurries before we leave! Actually I hope so...it would be a nice wrap for my photo journal!
I just made it back to 365 and see you are on your way home! I almost made it out to Nova Scotia this year - but working conflicts kept me away. Hope to one day get there - glad to see you had another wonderful visit. ;)
@kass Just let us know! We hope to be back by mid-to-late June next summer! @dailypix We sort of bookend Canada, don't we? Loving Victoria as we do, your photos give us a vicarious visit (which seems the only sort of visit we're gong to get this year!)
@Weezilou I'm glad you can visit through photos they sure can do that can't they. One if the reasons why I love photography so much it can capture scenes and moments so well. You make me want to visit Lunenburg sometime too.
