I think I'm safe in saying I posted some of the first squirrel photos as they were my best subject matter back home in California. We'd go for walks in the park & they'd come running up for the peanuts we fed them... (...just checked...the first of 2500+ "squirrel-tag" pictures was from Ken & me...)
Then Ken and I left town for five months in Nova Scotia...and came home to find two squirrels living in our back yard! (...for the first time in 40 years here!)
We joke that they came looking for us! They also take peanuts from our hand...
So today I found a box of books in the garage that we'd brought home from storage for the grand sons. The first book I pulled from the box was this story about a squirrel, and I knew I had to get a picture! Only took me about 3 tries in a 6 minute period! Still "Squirrel Whispering" after all these years!
Oh my gosh ~ How cute is that!!! Looks like your little friend is ready for story time along with her snacks. :) I remember reading "Miss Suzy" to my girls eons ago. I never forget a book I read six dozen or more times. :)

I believe it Louise, they know you too well, and they are probably stowaways or they somehow put the word out to their relatives to watch for you. Great idea for a photo. A perfect prop.

LOL!!!! First ever tag, eh? Wow! And it is still a cool picture all these years later and a full 4 years before I had ever heard of 365. Louise the Trailblazer!
@casablanca Ahhh, Time...many of these people are no longer posting...don't know if their accounts have been deleted... One favourite passed away a couple years ago... A bit like a yearbook here...many graduated and moved on!
