How I Spent My Afternoon...

Gray skies...temps dropped...rain fell...(here in Chicago)

My darling grandson wanted no part of me with a camera in hand...

So, inspired by an altered photo by John Rambo @jrambo001 I snagged the first photo I came across (from Hawaii, a month ago) and began to alter it inside out and backward...When I finished, I liked the colors, so I wondered if I could sandwich it with the original and play some more...

I'm actually not displeased for the time spent... I'll call it, "The Lifeguard"...

@marthabrett have no fear (and I don't deserve "awe"!) I played with this image until I'd left nothing by color...then layered with with the original, erased a bit of the watercolor...voila. (All because I didn't take a decent photo all day!)

@allie912 Fair enough! Being on campus since Th, I've already taken pictures of some of the faculty kids, and friends at a birthday party. To leave photos for them in their mailboxes is my way of saying thank you. Planned to do it at a local drugstore, but this arrived at a perfect time!
