Without Patience We Will Learn Less in Life___Mother Teresa
Within these photos and the words from Mother Teresa are volumes of memories & milestones through the years. As I put this together, I thought of the love my daughter, Ashley, has for her boys & her remarkable patience with them. On one level, I'm overjoyed to be a grandmother with the opportunity to have little boys in my life now. But I'm so moved by the path my own daughter's walked in life, independent & headstrong in her youth to becoming a nurturing and loving wife & mother and a dear and thoughtful daughter.
To you young parents out there...be patient... It will come to this and it is Oh So Worth it!
These photos are a lead up to a party, Easter and birthday weekend... More to follow...
...and if I run short of time, as many of us will, "Happy Easter" to you all! ♥♥♥
*********midnight******* I spent the evening leaving comments & came across this from Boxplayer http://365project.org/boxplayer/extras/2014-04-15 Though of similar coloration, it's so delightfully at the other end of the spectrum from my "photo of the day" it just tickled me.
These images convey so many wonderful things — determination (at getting that frosting just right on the cake), satisfaction (with a taste of the frosting following a job well done) and love. That kiss shared by the mom and the expression on the young boy's face says oh so much. Wonderful collage. And Happy Easter Weekend to you and your family.
As I'm dreadfully behind in my viewing, commenting and thanking, I'm going way back to my tulip tree pic where you shared an insightful note, the one about adding your husband's name to your tag line since he'd joined in on the efforts of getting a 365 pic each day. That's just the neatest! It's definitely a partner thing here most of the time. It wasn't yesterday while I was at the park with my great nephew. The hubby said I was on my own with that energetic little guy. :)
@lyndemc Denise, you're a gem! You & I will always be "behind" because we wish to speak to the person behind the photographic offering, Your "small letters" are the stuff of yesteryear...the awaited postman brought that connection to friends in the outside world and letters had substance. Thank You for always taking the time; I recognize your offering with every visit. (Ashton's cake was the culmination of a day of cake decorating for brother Dylan's 1st birthday party this afternoon, Mama Ashley did an amazing job on the party cakes, so we await the fun that lies ahead!) Again, thanks & the best weekend to you!♥
Wonderful photos and loved reading the words. Thinking back to several years ago, I would never have thought our Daughter would be where she is today, or our Son, but it is such a joy and inward pleasure to see their world change direction.
What a wonderful tribute to your daughter and also your understanding of the special person your daughter is. I love the pictures you chose for this collage. It looks good enough to eat!
