Frosty was hanging out with us early this morning, so I asked Ashton if he wanted to feed her. At 3 1/2 he was hesitant, so his dad assisted. The third time he said he was ready to do it himself, so thanks to Ken for the photo (on the first and only take!) as I stood by.
After that Ashton and Frosty were best buds & before heading to Disneyland for the day, he left her *quite a large bowl-full* of peanuts.
I am amazed how tame and friendly this squirrel is. Ours are so skittish. What a fabulous heartwarming shot of these two buddies ....well caught and deserves a fav!!
@cimes1 Thanks for sharing in the delight, Carole! Frosty is *incredibly* gentle, so I don't mind our boys interacting with her. I'd hold our 1-year-old's hands, and Frosty would come to his feet to get a peanut...delighting Dylan, too! She's friendlier & more personable than most of the cats who call our yard home! Thanks for the fav!

@allie912 I was waiting for someone to comment on that (the cowlick!) When we visited there, his hair was way too long, so Ashley gave it "a quick trim"... well, it's certainly "all boy" isn't it?!
