*Happy* to See Me!

I had to post this early as this moment was such fun! If I could reach out from where I'm sitting, this squirrel is not more than 3' away! I heard chattering, looked up, and thought for sure it was Frosty! I went out with "treats" (peanuts) and the squirrel moved away and kept chattering...*not* Frosty! But the word on the street seems to be that this is a Soup Kitchen, and just let the cook know your menu selection! This isn't the first time I've seen little faces peering in at me, and it's always a delightful moment! Just had to share!
That is hilarious! Well captured. I was not the fishing mom - just documenting some fun as are you.

@deu49097 @kerristephens @pyrrhula @aglennc Thanks ya'll! I had to laugh that he came around to look in the window several times over a half hour! And chatter!

@nataliejohnson22 Oh but you have the cutest possums in the world and I recall they could be quite cheeky and friendly! Of course you'd have to stay up all night with them!

@snowy We keep a steady supply of peanuts on hand! We're stocking up at present to be away until late November, so we've got about 60# of bird seed and 60# of sunflower seed and 10 large bags of peanuts...not to mention a warehouse-full of cat food! And if that weren't enough, I just put up a hummingbird feeder! My friend loves all the animals as much as we do, so she looks after *everything* in our absence,,,

Well it sounds like they are all going to be well fed
June 11th, 2014
Ha ha ha ha! He looks like he plans to come right in!

haha cute shot!

@chard Fear not! Frosty always makes herself known if I see a squirrel in the feeder, step outside and she runs right over to me! We now have a male w/a scraggle tail, and the one today who is scoping out the territory like it's a new country to explore! My friend, Tracy, will keep everyone so happy, they'll never miss me! I assume you saw above to Diana the quantity we've stocked up for our absence! This is a pretty happy yard!

That is too funny Louise! I love your line about the soup kitchen. He looks like he could just open the door and let himself in.

Remember reading about the hobos during the Depression marking the houses that provided food for them? Wonder what the squirrel sign is for "Soft Touch"?
June 12th, 2014
Something tells me he will be back, and maybe even a few of his friends

Gorgeous. We don't have squirrels in the Land of Oz.

@golftragic Welcome aboard, Marnie! I'll see to it that Ken gets some photos at the Bluenose Golf Course in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia...it's anything but typical! http://365project.org/Weezilou/365/2013-10-20 That's it, across the way...on the side of the hill with the harbour as a water hazard!

@allie912 @digitalrn Alli and Rick...I think they ALL bring friends! That hobo mark you mentioned is a cat...it means "A friendly Woman Lives Here"... I don't want to break my arm, patting myself on the back, but I get Ken to shell out the big bucks for food and then I bestow it upon them all!
