Our annual cycle is about to begin... Our suitcases are packed (early, even!) and the last-minute list has begun... Haircut...check Notes for House-sitter...check, and so it was time for the pedicure this morning... I could get three pedicures here in SoCal for what one will cost in Nova Scotia... Conversely, I can get three haircuts in NS for what one costs here! At the end of the day, it's the differences that make it all so interesting! I'm happy to be organized and ready to make that transition to a slower pace of life, where freeways are an unknown and the community is like one big family...
Ahhh.... nothing like 'new toes'! Have you tried paraffin wax dips? If not.... you should!
Hope you and Ken have a fun and safe trip! Looking forward to seeing your photos from back east! I'll be in PEI for a couple of weeks this summer... IF I can make it happen!

You know the invitation stands open,,,just let us know! @jamibann Issi, being Scottish, you may find it interesting that we'll be spending the next 5+ months in Nova Scotia. We have a home there and go every summer/fall. Lunenburg is the antithesis of Los Angeles (area) so it's always a monumental change! @almondjoy1 In that I find my photo choices full-to-overflowing when we're there, yes...you'll be seeing a lot of South Shore Nova Scotia in the coming months! @hollandcrew now I'll have osprey and blue herons taunting me as I try to get my photos of them! @kerristephens Thanks, Kerry. She's a darling girl and she knows I take a lot of photos, so she was willing to work with me :) @lisatown I don't know about the paraffin wax dips... for what a pedi costs in NS ($50), it should come with that!
