Last summer, Charlie captured the hearts of our oldest grandsons, Ashton & Bodhi. I made them a video that I know they've watched numerous times! http://365project.org/Weezilou/365/2013-09-01 (Bodhi, who was still 1-y-o back at Christmas, would ask me to play "Neigh" so often, everyone groaned when they heard him ask!) So it was Ashton's first choice this morning to have a ride with Charlie, and Carmen, the driver, gave him the choicest seat next to her, knowing he'd been a long-time fan! (John, our SIL is just behind). Ashley was alongside me as I took photos, and Ashton was calling out excitedly to her that he was right behind Charlie! Two old friends, reunited!
Charlie Horse, he's looking left like everyone else for the picture!! That's too cute. So precious, the story of Bodhi's requesting the video you made and Ashton's excitement over being right behind the horse on the ride. Don't kids make life doubly exciting. Great photo of the moment.
@digitalrn He was there again today, this time with Ken... Carmen, the driver, let him hold the reigns and told him how to get Charlie to go and to stop. I suspect this is going to be a daily experience, one-paying-adult-at-a-time... When they hire him, he can start picking up a pay check!
@stray_shooter My daughter Ashley, is talking to Ashton from the sidewalk. Logistically, our house is situated behind her. From the window, when I'm at the computer, I enjoy watching the horse carriages go by... (So not SOCA, eh?).
