Along our walk Bodhi exclaimed about every oncoming dog. I'd ask if a two-year-old might pet it, and each person was sweetly accommodating. Cooper, a Burmese Mountain Dog, was so gentle & his walker said he was good around children. Bodhi hugged him and kissed him on the nose, obviously enchanted.(Later, when I showed Heather the pictures, she said this dog had been in her store; she knew him :)
We're off to the park again soon...I wonder who we'll encounter today!
@gilbertwood How lovely to read your note! Yes, you can see the demeanor of this dog...I had no concerns. IF I was in the market for a dog (but I'm not!) I've always thought these were a adorable breed!
@Weezilou These shots are wonderful. Definitely show the adoring relationship a boy and a dog can have. Sweet! Louise, do you know how BIG these dogs are? Great dogs, but...... As John and I have gotten older our idea of the kind of dogs to have have changed. We've had a Golden Retriever, a Border Collie, big and active, as well as several other medium to large dogs. We've got two very active Miniature Poodle mixes now, and they are the perfect size for us now. A bit smaller. (All of our dogs have been rescues too!!)
Beautiful shots Louise! BMD are such a beautiful gentle, although big, breed. I had a mix (part BMD & part Boarder Collie) and he was such a ham and sweetie. It looks like Bodhi is a dog man too!!
Made my heart melt! Bodhi shows his feelings in these photos and he does love dogs! I would be right with him hugging this great big bunch of fur! How fun to spend time and watch your grandson investigate and share his likes with you.
