We'd just returned from our two weeks in the states with the grand kids, but "365 Photographer", Kass @aKass and her husband, Rob, were in Lunenburg, so we had to make a get-together happen! We had a wonderful visit (though I'd have liked to have had longer to learn some of her beautiful photography techniques!). We actually took only a few photos, and this picture was my ploy to get them to stay in the dining room while Ken and I prepared the candles on a cake and scooped ice cream! (The ever-present Fred was at his usual place at the table as well!)
It was such fun to celebrate Rob's birthday here in Lunenburg, and I hope it will be a part of happy vacation memories! So nice to meet you both!
We know what fun it is to visit Louise and Ken in Lunenburg. Would love to do it again. Surprised you don't have more visitors back there, Louise. Such an awesome place to visit.... and you're great tour guides.
Oh wow, how neat that was, and I'm sure Kass & Robb enjoyed your hospitality. Kass has produced some awesome photos. I admire her work. Fred seems very at home.
@aglennc@lynnilou@kwind@ceilidh@kerristephens @gilbertwood@digitalrn Yes, Anita and John visited and we had a wonderful time together! I'd met their daughter, Linda, a 365 member who wanted us to meet as well! We really do enjoy our visitors, and as relative newcomers ourselves (13 yrs) we delight in sharing what we've come to love here. Kass and Rob were our 5th "365 visitors", so let us know if you're up/out this way. (Rick gave us a high sign some time ago, but we're still waiting...). @digitalrn regarding Fred feeling quite at home...as he does every night, he's now asleep with his head on my left forearm...I've mastered typing in this fashion and he's quite comfortable! (Ken just took a picture...maybe I'll post it...)
