I glanced outside and the deck was flooded with light! With very few photos today (because I was going through the hundreds I took yesterday!) I hoped to get a photo or two. When I first went out, the sky was filled with dissipating contrails. (If you fly overseas -east or west- you'll nearly always see Lunenburg on your airline map) I waited, and could actually see the lights on this plane blinking as it passed overhead. I was able to get two photos from the time I spotted it until it was behind the tree! All those folks will be spending their Euros come morning!
@pyrrhula Thanks, Ferry! I love that expression, "Scarves in the sky"! They certainly were as I watched one begin to "blow in the breeze" and grow gossamer! I waited for another to come along and was thrilled to actually see the lights on the plane blinking! (Can you see it?) They were probably in London by morning! @golftragic Marnie, to you, too, thanks. It's such fun to see that contrail at probably 32-36,000' and it's probably 10 seconds before you hear it passing overhead! I seem to have one star in the photo (or a planet) but any other specks I see are probably dust on my computer screen!
