After spending the day celebrating Christmas with Heather, Tina, Bodhi & Hazel, we went to the zoo that evening to experience the night lights. Most of the interior was lit like this tree...some spectacular decorations to delight everyone! Among my comments, I believe it was Osia who said that the many lights represent the warding off of darkness at this time of year...and so they did!
I thought the ambient light of a big city, combined with the decorations and silhouettes of the beautiful bare trees was a memory I wanted to retain...beautiful enough to help in the transition westward...
