Back to the Beach ... by Weezilou

Back to the Beach ...

You folks who are buried in snow might want to learn that trick about "changing the sky"... Figure out the tools to do that and the rest is, well, just "play"! This is of me with my friends at Duke's last week, the restaurant being at the beach. However, our backs were to the street, so I did a little snipping and gave us a more deserving background. While I'm not about to brag about "matched perspectives" I sure like the way the "quick selection tool" works! I appreciate what I've learned here on 365 and I see some better-planned possibilities into the future!
A lovely place to be - great editing

I don't want to change the sky I want to change the ground. Change snow piles to snow drop flowers. LOL

A perfect backdrop! Brilliantly done you wouldn't say it wasn't always there!

The funny thing is that before reading your commentary, I though there was something 'strange' about the photo. To me, you looked to be sitting inside, but obviously outside. Now I get it, but the transition to the seafront with the birds flying around was seamless! Clever work.

@panthora You've certainly cornered the market on the beach photos! Tuck a few in your suitcase to keep "A warming memory" while you're in NYC! Have a safe trip and a nice time! ♥

@Weezilou Thanks, Louise! I think I will need a bit more than "warming memories" to keep me at least thawed in that frozen tundra! I think the last time we did this in February was when we visited Christo's Gate Project at Central Park, and I remember how cold it was walking around there. Be on the alert for photos of snow and bundled people....a far cry from the surfer shots here...
