-- Thank You ALL So Much for the time you've taken to leave thoughtful and most enjoyable comments while I'm busy entertaining the family! When I have more time, I have so many wonderful events and occasions that have happened here that I photographed and would love to share. I won't forget a one of you when I have time to sit alone, and when I have a few minutes, I want to share the likes of this morning, the close of a lovely past 24 hours! --
I was at the dock yesterday morning to see the arrival of this French ship. I've overheard a bit about it...a recreation of a ship from the 1700s, it's only stop in Canada... I know there's a lot more to read about but haven't had the time; you may be interesting in Googling it, as I will later!
The morning events on the home front were a bit chaotic as Ken and Heather left to drive Tina to the airport, her vacation over. I baby-sat little Hazel while John & Ashley corralled 3 boy cousins at a museum. This ship was scheduled to sail at 12:30, I took my first photos from our front door, then left Ashley with all the kids while John drove me to the edge of town where he dropped me off to catch more ocean views. It was misty, and the ship was motoring, so it went quickly. In the end I did something I'd never consider doing in the big city...
I asked that photographer in my photo if he'd give me a ride home. His name was Mark and we shared the pictures we'd taken. ...lovely...
I LOVE your processing in this! It's like the guy (Mark?) in the grass is looking out into a scene from a time in the past. Fav!
You would not believe the rain we've had for the past 2 days in San Diego.Lightening, thunder and everything. It's part of a hurricane that hit Baja and came up this way. Anyway we need more rain. Sounds like you are super busy! When do you relax and take "Louise time"? Hugs to you!
