Eight years ago our youngest daughter, Ashley, married John, the most perfect son we might have hoped for to add to our family. The wedding was on our back deck with 25 family members and local friends, and there isn't a time we step out there, that we/I don't recall that beautiful day! Now the good memories include the grandsons who love to visit us here, and our roots have been secured in this beautiful corner of Canada.
Today is the anniversary of our daughter Meg and her husband "Mr. Wonderful" as we all call him, but for them it is #14. This has been a remarkable year for them with the culmination of 2 dreams -- a restaurant and a baby. Their happiness is our happiness, as I'm sure you understand!
@allie912 What a joy and a delight that we seem to share so many special "year-occasions"! Please send Mr & Mrs W. *Happy Anniversary* wishes from me! Their milestones certainly have been exceptional ones!
You have certainly been blessed with a wonderful family Louise. At times like this I recall 'Nothing comes from nothing, nothing ever could, so somewhere in your youth or childhood you must have done something good...' :-)
Wonderful, good sons in law are very special. It was my youngest daughter's 20th last week to her Jason. Siobhan's 25th will be Christmas Eve 2016 - to her Jason!
Wonderful pictures of them. It's so nice to have secure families in our rather dysfunctional world and it's great to have a son in law that fits in with the family. Congratulations to them
Beautiful couple, wonderful occasion, and they seem to have made a really great life together! And, yes, now I know it is the blond grandchildren from this that are Ashley and John's kids! Happy Anniversary to them, and double happiness for you and Ken for all the joy they bring you!
@Cherrill Dear friend, I've been remiss not to thank you for those very touching words! I've thought about what you wrote everyday and have been meaning to come back and say as much... Truly, *thank you* ♥
