A Summer-Long Birthday Party - California to Nova Scotia
This may look like a repeat of a photo I previously posted, but no-o-o-o... I somehow managed to secure about 5 hours to myself this afternoon and I "made myself a photo book" (of sorts) to save all the birthday celebration(s) you shared with me here. YOU were my inspiration to give back to you all the fun I was having as I went through the thread Vikki @summerfield began and where you left me so many lovely messages! If you can spare 2 minutes, you'll find some well-known members of 365 and see the fun we had while I was still in California.
Suddenly I see why I'll never get ahead and complete my projects... I should have added a closing link to the thread! OK...I'll go back and do that, but for now, this is my photo of the day...

So here's an admonition to women everywhere who shave a few years off their age... I'm here to tell you they've got it all wrong! Do it like this:
ADD 5 years to your age and people will look at you and tell you how great you look! ...Just sayin'...
@photographycrazy Why on this site alone I have 365 friends! Cool! (Funny, I'm not into FB at all... I'd rather have friends I really know...or almost really know ; )
@allie912 The BEST gift, indeed. They can see us through anything, and I know we're lucky, too, to have husbands who are also our best friends! Further, we women know how to have wonderfully close, nurturing friendships with other women, which makes us more fortunate than most men, I think.
what a fantastic celebration of life. you know how to live it lady! and seriously.. your "OMG" comment on the champagne and eclairs photo has me cracking up. love it!
This is so cool! How wonderful that you got to meet and spend time with other 365 members. Loved the slideshow, such awesome memories. You take the most wonderful vacations. I've only been to one other state than my home state of Michigan.
I`m sometimes lost. Did I not sending my congrats? I can`t remember I did Blame it on my age. If I did n`t I do it by now, with love. Have watch you video and wander how you find the time to make it. Thank you for you so nice( long) comment on my last pic. I do n`t know what a Dory race is. I presume a race with the small boats used on the fishing ships.
