Ken and I went out for an hour-1/2 as the Golden Hour was about to begin. My cameras filled with sun-sparkled windows on light-splashed houses, golden fields and forest borders. Hillsides lined with bare-tree silhouettes standing like sentinels against a rosy sky. As the sun set, reflected light on clouds above, lit up the harbour's water like a mirror. How to choose "just one"...
This garnered the slot as it's the way I'll always remember Nova Scotia... From our fist visit here, it was about the colours of land and ocean. This is a palette with which one could always live happily...
