@radiogirl ..."A drop in the bucket", as they say! I hadn't finished writing my caption when I uploaded... A big highway sign denotes this area as "The Balsam Christmas Tree Capital of the World"... We seem to have cornered the market on them!
We try to get ours in Mahone Bay every year at a cut your own lot. Its a fun thing to do as a family, but not so fun when we don't agree on the "best" tree. :)
@novab Come down to Lunenburg and we'll take you to our lot on Feltzen South! There are SO MANY trees we tell all our friends to go there to cut one! One friends even got a 17' tree! I like the little ones, personally! Get in touch...seriously!
we have had a Christmas Tree farm just around the corner from us but the owners are now retiring and have cut down all the trees and I guess they wil make a fine profit on the land.
Ah, Louise, I haven't had a Christmas tree in years. I have the perfect place for it in our new to us little house but somehow my heart is just not in it any more. But I sure do seeing other people's trees!
