We took the grandkids to a park along Lake Michigan in the hope of seeing a gathering of people flying kites. It was *so cold & windy* there were few souls brave enough to send them soaring!
So what did we "oh so very smart people" do but shiver in the wind as the tykes (who were low enough to the ground not to catch a breeze!) picked flowers for their moms!
The field of dandelions was irresistible to me as well, and I kept taking photos until we couldn't stand all that fun anymore!
@kevin365 Kevin, m'friend, you're forever a delight and never fail to leave me with a feel-good moment! Perhaps you noticed I'm only 20 days behind schedule, I wish I could figure how to do without sleep!
@maggiemae I have dozens of her smiling face, but I liked the concentration, and though only 22 mo old, she seemed to know why and what she was doing here!
