At the invitation of our college friend, Mike, we flew to Raleigh for a visit. We took the Panama Canal cruise with him and his wife, but since then, we're "ships in the night", passing one another as we travel. They were on their way to California & asked us to join them on a cruise to Hawaii, but we were already heading east. That's when the invitation came and we had a wonderful few days together!
Mike's always been a patriot, and while we were out sightseeing on this day, I saw to it I didn't miss the opportunity of get this spontaneous portrait of him!
